Following the culmination of The Cabinet of Curiosities project, I collaborated with Cambridge Artworks to set up an annual programme of artist residencies, Caravanserai, in the bright blue caravan studio that is now permanently at Artworks studios.
In 2017, I returned to the caravan studio for a two-week residency and made a life-size impression of the caravan in white muslin. This shroud-like presence was suspended in Artworks Gallery acting as a screen for projections of short films that capture glimpses of refracted and reflected light dancing light across the interior of the caravan.
