This experimental work was made in parallel to Wash my Hands as a meditation on the rhythm of water and mud lapping and caressing skin. The isolation of lower legs from the body, projected onto ever shifting screens suspended in the dark creates a sense of dislocation, and unease.
Wash my Feet was first shown as a film projection in Lockdown & Light (2020) and then as still images in The Crown Letter’s outside exhibition drawing a line more than 28 metres of images along on one of the busiest streets Place de la Tour Saint Jacques, Paris, as part of Photo Days and Hyper Festival 2021
